Student Travel Grants

    • Some travel funds will only be available to ACM SIGARCH student members and IEEE members only.
Any student from any country can become an ACM/IEEE member.
    • Some travel funds will be provided by the National Science Foundation to support students from U.S. institutions to travel to Israel to attend PACT 2016.
    • We highly encourage all students to join SIGARCH, TCCA, and TCPP to be given higher priority (SIGARCH offers an online membership for $2).
    • The exact number and amount of the awards will be determined based on the number of eligible applicants and the availability of funds.
    • Every effort will be made to provide award amounts prior to the early-bird registration cut-off date.

    How to apply

Applicants must fill out this online form. If you have difficulties with the form, please send an email to the Student Travel & Awards Chair, Dave Kaeli.

Student applicants also need to ask their advisor to confirm their student status by sending an email to the Student Travel and Awards Chair, Dave Kaeli following these guidelines:

    • Subject: "Student Travel Status Confirmation for [Your-Last-Name, Your-First-Name]"
    • In the body, your supervisor must state that you are a full-time student pursuing an MS/PhD or undergraduate research in the areas covered by PACT.
    • The confirmation email must be received prior to the application deadline.
    • Due to the large number of applications we expect to receive, we will NOT solicit letters from your advisors. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that your advisor sends us a confirmation email before the deadline.
